The new generation of Freehand follow the newest trends in yoying. The response system is now recessed into the body of the yoyo, the weight is moved even more to the sides of the yoyo and the new colors are just radiant.
Freehand is commonly known under its original name Freehand 2. But after the release of Freehand Zero, Duncan stopped manufacturing the original Freehand. It needed some updates to be able to keep up with current trends and demands.
Freehand is a smaller yoyo and a little more narrow that its bigger relative FHZ. That makes it more suitable for intermediate players who mostly appreciate its universality. The weight aimed to the sides produces a long sleep, which you need to practice 5A yoyoing. Thre's a counterweight and a tutorial CD in the package, that will help you conquer 5A.
Thanks to its price, Freehand is also popular among (beginning) modders.
